At Giving Hands we all work together to help the homeless people to restore their self-esteem and to find a positive way to move on with their lives.

For many people who have experienced homelessness, losing their self-esteem can be the most damaging part of their experience. Being on your own, with no support around you can be soul destroying, leaving you feeling worthless.

Finding your way out of that situation isn’t easy, particularly when the only options available are temporary fixes, offering a bed for the night but little to occupy your days.

Here at Giving Hands we understand that homeless people need more than a hot meal and a bed for the night if they are to rebuild their lives. They need a home, a sense of purpose and the chance to regain their self-respect.
